I applied for my co-op work permit in January 17, 2022, when I applied they said it’s gonna take 12 weeks then it April they extended it to 134 days and now on May 3, 2022. It showed 134 to 137 days. It’s very frustrating. My co-op is gonna start next week that too unpaid. I‘m unable to work on my part-time job. I don’t know why is IRCC taking to much time to process a simple co-op work permit. It’s not that they said asked for heavy and tons of papers. I spoke to IRCC, I’m not surprised but they are very insensitive regarding this. Is anyone having the same issues? Thankyou

Cho Zin Thet yes I did. They said, they let me know as soon as they reach a final decision. That’s it. I raised three web forms. My school, IRCC none is helping me.

Ferdous Mashiat Sharif I know it sounds frustrating. But we can only wait. Even consultants can't speed up IRCC processing time.

Cho Zin Thet part-time job and co-op work permit don’t have any relations. Usually to do co-op you need a co-op work permit.

If it’s urgent you can think of doing flagpoling. Last week, two of my friends did and got their permits.

So we can't do part-time job without co-op work permit?
