Hi kubier My name is Deepak and I am pursuing my masters in Canada as full time student. I am in deep distress as my spouse open work permit has been refused.. and the reason they have mentioned is that we haven’t provided sufficient documents to prove my full time student status in Canada. Now I am looking forward to apply for visitor visa for her. So that atleast we can unite. Can I apply?? What can be done for her work permit after she reaches in here?? Waiting for your reply and advise. Regards Deepak Kalra

Deepak Kalra many friends who have applied in this way have received within 3 to 4 months recently…rest is on IRCC and your application
Snehal Shinde are you sure it takes 4 months… IRCC has mentioned 18 months of max time for clearing these applications
Have you provided your enrollment letter and LOA from university which states that you are full time student.
You can apply work permit within Canada, process is same it takes around 4 months period
