In a scenario where I apply for for both study visa and PR simultaneously, do the chances of visa rejection increase?Should I remove my express entry profile from the pool if I apply for student Visa. I've been told by the agents that I can't file both of them together. I read a bit about dual intent but would like to have experts opionion on this. If I apply for both study and PR, then should I highlight this in my SOP for student visa?

Never mention your PR application in study permit SOP. Rejection will be almost guaranteed. See this way, U R giving ample reasons for coming back after your study , and at the same time telling them about your intent of PR.
Just tell in sop you made an express entry profile - dropped the plan - now want to go for study - Will come back to home country
