If you've created an Express Entry profile and expressed interest to multiple provinces but only have SINP (Saskatchewan) and Quebec's programs in mind, group members pointed to a couple of other angles worth exploring:
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to Prince Edward Island's PNP. PEI runs its own EOI-based provincial nominee stream that doesn't require a job offer or existing connections in the province, making it a reasonable option alongside SINP.
- Recalculate your CRS score with each spouse as the primary applicant. Since Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points depend on which spouse is the principal applicant (age, education, language scores all shift the math), it's worth checking whether switching the primary applicant produces a higher combined score — this can open up different province-specific or federal draw cutoffs.
Neither tip guarantees a nomination, but both widen the pool of options beyond the two programs originally considered.
