If you're listed as the dependent spouse on your partner's Express Entry (EE) profile and want to apply to Saskatchewan's SINP International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry stream in your own right, you cannot do so under their existing profile.
- Understand that a dependent spouse cannot apply to SINP using the primary applicant's EE profile number. SINP's Express Entry stream requires you to be the primary applicant on your own profile.
- Create a separate Express Entry profile with yourself as the primary applicant. This is a distinct profile from your partner's, even though you'll both remain in the pool.
- Once you have your own EE profile number, you can apply to SINP under the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream using that number as the primary applicant.
- If your NOC is on the province's in-demand occupations list, the Occupation In-Demand stream may also be worth comparing, since it doesn't require an EE profile in the same way — check current SINP stream requirements, as in-demand lists change periodically.
Having two separate EE profiles (one where you're primary, one where you're a dependent on your spouse's) is generally not an issue in itself, but confirm current SINP and IRCC rules before applying, since program requirements are updated over time.
