An applicant's Express Entry profile was cancelled after an NLPNP nomination and upfront medical, then they received a fresh ITA on a new profile (noting the old EE profile and UCI numbers in it). How to connect the already-completed medical? The thread's answer was simple:
- Upload the same medical in the new application. The e-medical acknowledgement/information sheet from the earlier exam goes straight into the new EE application's medical slot.
- No webform, no LOE required. The poster asked whether to raise a webform to link the old medical or explain it in a letter of explanation — members who'd done it said no other action is needed; the sheet itself carries the e-medical reference IRCC uses to match it.
- Cross-reference your old identifiers. The poster had already listed the previous EE profile number and UCI in the new profile — sensible practice that keeps records linked.
Note: immigration medicals have a validity period (generally 12 months), so this works only while the original exam is still valid.
