CanadaExpress Entry1Urgent query: After resigning (9months back), my company changed their name only (same address and staff) from "A" to "Z" just recently. I had obtained reference letter and salary certificate on comapny "A" letterhead 9months back. What should I do now to prove company has changed their name to "Z"? Option 1: get a certificate on company "Z" letterhead mentioning name change of organization(signed and stamped)? And explaining it in LOE. Option 2: get the reference letter made again on company "Z" letterhead on current date? Mentioning company Z( previously A).....? (can be difficult as the admins are pretty stiff now) P.S: signing person is same with same contact details,company location. Company name, logo and letterhead changed. Kubeir Kamal please help as this is my only experience.

Hira Khan So any change should go through legal proceedings and somehow you will need to get hold of a legal document which states the name change... You can Google KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies... earlier it was KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research... they later removed the word research
Abhijith Varma thanks for your response but it is actually a hospital with no website (it has active internet footprints though). Since I left the place at the time of name change, I don't have any notification letter either.
Viji Ambs I have not submitted my previously issued reference letter on company A letterhead to IRCC yet. Is it wise to make a new one altogether on company Z letterhead mentioning formerly known as A(currently dated)?
Either of those options would work. If you want it to be direct and no confusion, go for option 2 and make sure it states it is reissued due to company name change
