This post will describe 2 different experiences of soft landing via land border in Canada from USA in a rental car. Me (primary applicant) and my wife (secondary) got PR in Express Entry. We both travelled individually in April 2022 in a rental car through the Detroit Windsor Tunnel but on different dates. After completing the Immigration process and activating our Canadian PR status, we both took a U Turn from Windsor and came back to Detroit on the same day using Automatic Visa Revalidation (AVR).
