First it is visa, now when asking refund for GIC and University they say they will take 6 to 8 weeks. It is very frustrating that you end up waiting so long and also at the same time loose so much money.

Priya Sharma CIBC said they will take 4-5 weeks. Its just ridiculous that a bank transfer should take that long when even in 3rd world countries it is usually within 24 hours.
Don't worry most banks like Scotiabank or Td canada trust usually take 1 month max to return although they say it takes max. 8 weeks
Sravya Reddye with me. Refund from college they said 9 weeks. What about the duration of GIC, Is it same ?
