CanadaSpousal Sponsorship1Seeking help/advice Kubeir Kamal I applied for SP along with OWP for my husband on June 02,2022 via an IRCC representative. Later on Sept 23,2022 I got PPR for my application only. There is no update for my husband’s OWP application yet.Note that, eligibility review started for both of us on the same day Sept 14,2022. In the given situation I am looking for answers to following questions: 1. Is it common to receive decision separately for each applicant when it is a joint application? 2. What are the chances that the OWP will be refused? 3. What steps should we take in order to get the decisions( We have already raised a web form on Oct 04,2022)? Any help would be highly appreciated.

It's common for applications to be processed separately (makes no sense to me though). We are in the same boat. Applied together for SP+SOWP. SP approved within 16 days, still waiting for SOWP (three weeks since submission).
Mahzuza Binte Mahmud Nope, although I see quite a few people getting their spouse permits within 4 to 6 months.. (and also people who applied in July / Aug and still waiting...so geo knows)
