CanadaVisitor Visa2My mother entered today on supervisa. However, the officer stamped her passport with date of 6 months. Does this she needs to leave canada by this date? Passport is not nearing expiry date or anything and if supervisa is valid for 5 years whats the point of this date?

Well I don’t know about supervisa status how long you can stay continuously!!! But for normal visa who have 10 years issued can stay upto 6 months continuously!!! After that you can cross US border by road and then enter back in Canada and stay again for next 6 months!!
I think you also posted in the other group. This date means she either must leave Canada or apply for extension before this date.
My parents entered on June 19th and they were allowed a 5 year stay.
