CanadaStudy Permit1My friend is travelling to Ontario on study permit for Sept 23 intake (2 year program), along with family. Her husband's passport shall expire in May 2024. I hope his passport can be renewed from Canada and visa can be obtained till the duration of the Program, without any hassles. Kindly advise if there are any risks to be considered here. Thank you.

Spouse’s open WP will be issued only upto the validity of his passport… so it’s recommended that he renew’s his passport before leaving.
