Members here from Calgary, is it good to rent BNB in downtown or in suburbs for a newcomer family with a toddler? Commute wise, groceries, pharmacy and most importantly safety wise? Is it generally safe to travel via bus/train?. Do we need to avoid commute after certain hours and avoid certain areas/stations etc Plz input here

Downtown is expensive. If you have a job the. Go gor downtown. If still looking then go to suburbs. Indian are in every direction. Bot mostly are in north east as it has gurdwaras and so many indian grocery store. Its safe though here

Its all safe don’t worry. People take metro all the tine even in night. Find spot Near the station usually all the shops are near to stations.
