Declaring employment history in a PR application: work history vs personal history

7 Answers

Aishwarya Balaji I'm in the same case actually. I have 3 years of professional experience and I don't have sufficient documents for 1 year and I want to claim points for 2 years only. As I understood, I can declare only 2 years when I create my EE profile and whenever I get an ITA I declare 2 years on work history and 1 year on personal details on my PR application, is that right? No problems with that? Thanks

If you wish to claim points declare in work history otherwise provide the details in personal history. For employment declared in personal history, you don't have to provide any documents like experience letter, roles and responsibilities etc.

Aishwarya Balaji hi! When i created my ee profile, there was no personal history, only work history. Do you know why?

It wont let you continue with the application if you dont disclose every year of your life 😅

Lenaj Go It's after you get invited and the PR application opens up. This is a EE profile.
