How long is the post-graduation work permit for a 3-semester program? (Unclear — verify before relying on this)

I have heard that we will get 18 months work permit. At the same time I have also heard that if you continue your studies for 16 months, then you are eligible for 3 years work permit..I am really not sure what is the truth..? Arman Haryana
