CanadaVisitor Visa1I have recieved student visa for fall. My husband wish to apply for his tourist visa to fly with me & be with me for a month. While applying for his tourist visa on the new ircc portal, it asks invitee address. As I am yet to land in canada, can I invite him yet putting my Univ address?

I tried sowp before My wife travelled to Canada and it got refused. Later I applied Visitor which got approved. If your husband wants to just travel for one month, go with visitor visa. Just get an invite letter (get the notarised) from your friend/fam… See more
You can take a chance for visitor visa or you can apply for SOWP. Most people first land in canada and then apply for spouse open work permit. SOWP will be valid until your study permit. Choice is yours
