I have got an admit in Master of applied computer science 16 months program and due to SDS category has 11weeks processing time, so decided to go with non SDS, but i do not have funds which are 3 months, old they are completely fresh, that savings account is opened only this February 22 and have deposited over 17L so far. I have paid my 2 terms fees -21kcad and GIC -10k cad as well, 2year ITR and also showing a CA report of 1cr approx... Is it fine to show a bank balance certificate instead of a bank statement, the certificate will be given by SBI bank, stating my available balance till date.??? Does it have any negative effect on my visa chances??? Plz guide.

Non-SDS with freshly deposited funds: what members said about statements vs balance certificates
If u can maintain funds for a period of 6 months...its well and good..you can give them statements...but if you'r jus depositing the amount and applying for visa immediately...then balance certificate is better as it shows just the total balance...
Jp Naveen you mean balance certificate will give the amount remaining in the account? Or we need to give account statement?
1.Showing 17L doesn't give a positive or negative impact on ur visa but the source of the amount matters.
Shravani Dali if you show strong finance proof it's not that much risky. They are also getting visa.
Shravani Dali in recent trend, few people are getting positive response. That too much faster.
Vinith VenkataKrishnan sure lemme know , i haven't got any ping though
