I have an express entry profile with CRS 477 (myself a primary applicant and my husband as a dependent). We are exploring the study route too, to move to Canada. My husband is applying as a primary applicant (study visa) and I would be his dependent (on an open work permit). Does this affect our study visa in any way, wherein they would reject our visa application due to an already existing EE profile? Kubeir Kamal Would you please advise on this? Thank you.

I was in Express Entry Pool and then I decided to pursue study visa. I took out my file from EE Pool, applied for study visa and also truthfully declared that I was in the pool. I got PPR well within time in first attempt

Poonam Reshma Dsouza My consultant also did the same for me to be on a safer side. It is not mandatory but advisable.

Shantanu Vaity Our consultant wants us to remove the profile from EE pool. Is it mandatory to do that?
