I have a question regarding the changes being made to the PGWP. As per the announcement made on January 22nd IRCC stated the following “graduates of master’s and other short graduate-level programs will soon be eligible to apply for a 3-year work permit.” However, as per the additional information page updated on 5th February the following was stated “Starting on February 15, 2024, a longer, 3-year post-graduation work permit will be available to those who are graduating from a master’s degree program that is less than 2 years and who meet all other PGWP eligibility criteria” My question is essentially, will students of short college level certificates such as graduate certificates be eligible for 3 year PGWP?
