I have a query regarding my flight from India to Canada. I have gotten a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and will be landing in Canada. I have a 10 hour layover in Munich, Germany. I wanted to know if I'll be required to get a Transit Visa for the same. The Germany website says that a PR holder /Valid Visa Holder doesn't need a Transit Visa but I wanted to confirm.

Sridhar Sundaramyes I'm aware. It was the semantics! I know I'll become a PR when I get there. What I intended to ask was do I need a Transit Visa in Munich with a COPR haha. But thank you! And congratulations on your landing!

We had a similar 10 hour layover at Munich 2 days ago. No transit visa was required as long as you stay on the international terminal.
