My employer applied for work permit extension. I applied PR myself. I got my e-COPR a few days ago. My family did not get PR as I mentioned as family as non-accompanying. My work permit extension is still in progress. Question: I can extend my OHIP card based on my PR. Can I extend my dependents' OHIP cards based on my "work permit" which is in progress? Kindly advise.

Take your AOR of WP extension and old WP. Go to service Ontario and say that they are dependents and are included in your application. They will get one year OHIP
check with service ontario or the government org
You can apply OHIP for yourself with COPR.
