If I submit an application for the PGWP extension prior to the expiry of my current PGWP, could I continue working during this time? Additionally, I would like to know if the work experience gained during this period would be eligible for consideration under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program. There are criterias to PGWP extension. Check if you fall under any of those. Till the time you are maintaining your status you should be fine.
You can work until the decision has been made on your WP.
