Do I have to inform IRCC or anything to do from my end when I receive new passport? Cause study permit has details of old passport on it. And also need to apply for study visa extension due to whole situation and how long does it take to approve? Please help.

Study extension vary time to time but hardly in Canada approval letter comes between 10 to 30 days and by mail the study permit within one week of approval
I will be facing the same situation as my passport will expire in between my 2 yrs of study program.
J S Johal so new study permit is sent by mail to my address ?? And how about the stamps on passport
Not required as new passport contains old passport number in last page
