I am 45, ENT Surgeon, want to pursue Masters in clinical research, or any other suitable branch. I have asked 4 major student agencies in India for admission in Canadian universities. One mentioned my age an issue, other mentioned I completed in 2009 then worked, long study gap, other one said I shld have above 65% to secure admission. Are any of these reasons true?

45-year-old surgeon told 'too old' by agencies: what actually decides mature study applications
Mature files are also considered;however, you should be able to justify your study gap, justify the course you wanna pursue, and convince the visa officer (through your SOP) that you will return after completion of your course.
U can try ur luck.. age n gap is accepted only in some colleges and universities so first mail to graduate recruiter and ask them whether you are eligible or not.
Sorry,I forgot to mention they all discourage for Canada, when I have applied for PR,I shld pursue education of the same country right.
Somnath Ghosh Thank you ,you mean the course you take must be justified.
