CanadaPermanent Resident1Hi there, I went to indian consulate today to get my PCC as it was ready for issuance. They denied my request and said we cannot issue in hand. I requested begged but they stayed persistent on how they have to follow rules and they can’t make any exceptions. They took my file number and phone number and said once they send it to BLS they will let me know. It was one of the worst experiences as they didn’t consider my urgency to be in this situation. They kept on asking me for proofs like ITA, my flight tickets also who said that PCC is not valid if you travel to india. Hopefully I get it before 10th June otherwise I ll have to cancel my tickets.

Shantanu Kulkarni I agreed with you until you said this is insane? Care to explain why do you think this is insane? She is trying her best to get through the PR process and we are here to help but you are here calling ppl insane!! Sad mentality
This is very wrong of them after knowing the situation. Please raise a request on their website too in case you haven’t(Grievance Redressal Form). It helped me in getting my pcc quick. I wait 4 months for mine.
Rajesh Gupta Sir I understand but as per humanity and considering that these situations do not arise often they could have done it. I have no reference here so yes it was a complete denial.
As far as I know Indian Consulate always helps ..but getting PCC is not considered as urgency its a process which already define and we need to follow.
I dont see any point in blaming BLS just because they were following the rules, this is insane.
