CanadaStudy Permit1Hi, need some clarity in terms of ielts. I've already taken the ielts (General : Overall 7.5) I'm getting conflicting inputs about acceptance of general ielts for visa processing. I'm aware that my college is accepting duolingo and I wish to take that instead. Majority are of the opinion that Ielts academic is the way to go but there are others including the IRCC website which clearly state that both ielts general & academic can be used for SDS application. Would appreciate if you guys could help me through this. Thanks!

I have received an approval with General IELTS. College accepted Duolingo. For SDS category IRCC accepts general. So please don’t be confused.
What I understand is for SDS application you can show either of the two i.e IELTS general or academic.
