Hi Kubeir Kamal Sir, I need your's and all group members' opinion on this. Please let me know what can be done in this situation. I am on a study permit and it expires on 31st July 2023. I need to file for an extension. My studies will end in December 2023. I filed my visa through an ICCRC Certified Immigration Lawyer and I asked the same person to file for an extension as well. He has told me that I need to show at least CAD 16700 in my account to prove to IRCC that I can support my expenses until December 2023. I have already paid all my fees in full for my complete course last year. I really don't know how a student can show that kind of funds in an account. I want to know if is it really necessary to show this fund to apply for an extension of 5 months? What if I am not able to show the funds, does that mean I need to leave Canada before my studies are complete and never come back? A
