Hi, I recently received my PPR for MCSC program at UNB for this fall 22 intake. But I am in a confusing state now. I just came back from hospital,last week, ( very bad timing) where I was admitted for 1.5 weeks, including 3-4 days in ICU because of which i have become too week (and doctor advised that I’ll need 2-3 months to completely recover) therefore my family is not willing to send me to canada at this point of time, but also dont want to kill my Canada’s dream. If I think of deferring my admission, the challenge is that my course is only offered in Fall, so if i defer, it’ll be for complete 1 year which is giving me goosebumps. I want to know from the group is what all steps I’ll have to take ( and to whom I’ll have to inform) if I plan to defer for Fall 2023 (considering i have received my PPR and will be stamped soon). Also i would like to know what would be your overall suggesti

You can probably write to the college and ask them for a special consideration wherein rather than deferring to allow you to study the first semester of the program online and then resume for the rest of the course . In this way you won’t loose on any … See more

You can study online also if college gives you the option to study online. The catch is that your pgwp will be reduced.
