Hi Had a query regarding pr application. My husband is working as a butcher under NOC B since past 5 months in BC on an open work permit and I am an international student on study permit. My husband has a job offer from Alberta under the same NOC and the company is willing to file LMIA. But the issue is we are already settled in BC and my college is also here. My question is.. as far as I know we are eligible for the Canadian experience class PR application after one year of experience in canada but it all depends on the score where as if we have a company sponsored LMIA then the chances of PR increases and it mostly happens after one year of working with the same company after filing of LMIA. So which option we should choose. Is it worth shifting base to alberta as the chances of PR increases thru LMIA or should we stick to canadian experience in BC. Our score is around 460. Thanks in a

Stick with BC. You can also apply BC-PNP after 1 year of job. Moreover, -12°C in BC happens like once in 50 years though.
We dont know what the situation will be like in a few months. Better get whats available and use it to get PR now
460 is good score for CEC without LMIA. U you can choose whatever you want but winter are too hard in Alberta.
