Prawin Thangaswamy Yes, that is why I ask my father to visit police station to make them happy but unfortunately they did not received my application even after 3 weeks . My wife PCC cleared in 4 days.
Check with the Indian Consulate, BLS sends all the application to Indian Consulate and from there it goes to the respective local police stations.

Ask the station Sub Inspector. They may expect some special welcome.
