Hi Everyone My husband and I are going to Canada this end of July for landing. The Canadian website mentions to carry Proof of funds. Can someone please advise whether we are to carry the entire amount that we declared at the time of appliacation submission? If yes, does it need to be hard cash? Looking forward to some expert advise. Thanks.

It depends how much foreign currency is allowed by Indian government. I recently landed they just asked you have amount 10K USD. I selected yes. No one checked, so Arslan is right..10 to 12 is enough rest you can carry your cards etc.

Don't carrry over $10k. Rest you can have in the documents provided by your bank which you can make them transfer once you open a new account in Canada.
