Nguyen Tran Kyle pre approved LMIA gives you only Wp not 50 points. If you want to claim 50 points, then your employer has to file pr supporting LMIA with your name When you do pr supporting lmia, you have two options to choose from 1.LMIA with closed work permit, 2. Only LMIA without closed WP, this option is used when you have PGWP and you dont want any employment restrictions for your daily work
WP based on approved LMIA would carry the employer details while PGWP is an open WP… No, 50 points for LMIA…. After a year, You will get 35 points towards Canadian Experience + additional points for your Canadian studies which you already have.
