The gic deposit must go from stident's personal bank from home country. My deposit was refunded because I sent it from my bank in Saudi, so be mindful of that.
And when gic gets refunded, you wont receive the entire amount back. They deduct processing fees and reductions due to foreign currency exchange rates
Samra Ahmad yes. I used scotia bank to deposit my gic. I suggest you read their guide carefully before making the transfer.
