Most of Canadian institutions accept overall 6.5 and not less than 6 in any module. Nevertheless, some colleges also accept overall 6.5 not less than 5.5 or even 5. You have to check the requirements on their websites for actual information.

Sandeep Yadav General IELTS is mostly preferable for PR purpose. For study visa, Academic IELTS is most acceptable one.
