Hi all, my husband and I are currently in Canada on IEC due to expire soon. My husband was accepted for BCPNP and have now submitted our PR application via Express Entry with CEC. We are currently looking at getting a work permit whilst waiting on a decision for PR to remain in Canada. Am I right in thinking that once we send off a work permit application online we are then on 'implied status' until a decision is made on our PR and therefore can continue working whilst waiting for the work permit to process? Thanks.

Applied for a new work permit while waiting on your CEC PR decision? You're on implied status once you apply

Aishwarya Patel about 2 weeks - it was tech pilot so maybe slightly faster than normal PNP not sure. Good luck!

How long did it take to hear about your BCPNP outcome as I am waiting for my nomination as well

Implied status would be worker status and it stays until you get your new work permit.
