Hi All, I have recently received an OINP Nomination Certificate. My CRS was 473, and the cut-off of OINP tech draw was also 473 at the time of Expression of Interest. Now, my confusion is, at that time I have shown my Spouse as "Non-accompanying", and now since I have received 600 additional points, my consultancy is insisting that we can add my Spouse as "accompanying" and it won't make any such issue, it is quite normal and many people do like this. However, I am still in a dilemma about whether I should proceed like this or it might adversely affect my application. Would be really grateful for your honest advice.

Got an OINP nomination with spouse marked non-accompanying? When it's safe to switch to accompanying
Rohit Pathak thanks Rohit for your inputs 🙂 so I believe..if I had added my spouse at the time of Ontario tech draw then my score would have been 456..and cut-off at which I got EOI was 473 so I was just wondering what if they recalculate and count my that score if I show her accompanying now ? bcz if points were above cut-off then there was no confusion. It just shouldn't feel like we are manipulating the system.
Parth Mehta If you add her now and if your CRS score drops beyond the selection criteria at the time you received the nomination then your application will be rejected. However, after receiving 600 extra points I believe it is practically impossible to have a CRS score which is below the selection criteria.
Mohammed M Hussain ohh great ! thanks for the reply 🙂 so..even if I add her now anf my CRS would come down below cut-off for Oinp draw that time.. still is that fine ?
Sindura Bypu EOI was received in August. In between I got couple of queries regarding Settlement funds,so it has been around 5 months.
Parth Mehta Hi Parth, If you don't mind May I know what were the queries about? I am planning to add funds as a gift deed.
Raafae Kashmiri no.My EOI was received on 15/08/2023, and nomination I just received a couple of days ago.
Parth Mehta I agree with Rohit Pathak! Please add your spouse after receiving 600 PNP points.
