CanadaPermanent Resident2Hi All, I have a couple of questions about my PR card status. I became a permanent resident of Canada on May 13, 2023. I have not received my PR card just yet. I recently linked my PR card application with my GCKey. The status for the PR card application says “Your document is valid”, and the last update to the application status was on June 14, 2023. It looks like my application was approved on June 9, 2023. As per the current processing times, I believe I should have received the PR card by now. My concern is that perhaps the PR card was mailed but was never delivered. So, my questions are as follows, (1) Can anyone tell me what is implied by the status - “Your document is valid”? 2) Is there a way to find out if the card was ever dispatched to me? Thanks a lot!

Srishti Mouli Sure. The PR card is supposed to arrive in Toronto.
Srishti Mouli Per my COPR, the issuing location is CPC-Ottawa.
If your pr card is dispatched it will display the message that card is dispatch Call IRCC and check with them or order gscm notes for detailed information but gscm notes will take more than 15 days So calling IRCC is one option. Call through the regular pr application and they will further connect with you with the pr team
Muzhgan Yaftali I applied way back in 2020 via the Express Entry FSW program. The cut off at that time was around 460-470. Due to COVID, it took more than 2 years to get the COPR. I finally landed in Canada in 2023.
1. Raise an enquiry to IRCC through your local MP office. You will come to know the exact status within 7-10 days. This is faster than getting GCMS notes. 2. Last option is this process
