CanadaStudy Permit1Hi all, I had applied for a study permit/student visa through SDS from India as I will be traveling for a 2 year full time Masters program this fall. My application is approved however my visa has been stamped only for 1 year 4 months. I submitted an unconditional LOA with sufficient finances and 1st year tuition already paid and my passport validity is more than 5 years. I also rechecked my application form and have put in the correct dates. Has anyone faced something similar and can guide me on how to go about it. Do I need to explain this at the port of entry where I will get my permit or just apply for an extension later or is there any other means of rectifying this. Any guidance would help. Thanks in advance

Reply for Preethi Adak too. First reach Canada, if the officer at the port of entry is considerate, he will rectify the mistake done on the part of Visa Officer. You can raise a web form, you may not get any reply but that web form will be in the hist… See more
