Hi All, I had a question regarding my work experience during my studies in Canada. Any clarification would be appreciated. I am one of the people who were allowed to work full time during my studies. I had a 4 month co-op term in my program and I worked full time in IT at a NOC A job. After my co-op term, I had 1 more semester to study for which my classes were in the evening. So, I continued my co-op job and worked for 8 months straight at a NOC A job as a student. My question is, will this 8 month experience count towards my Canadian experience for my PR application since it was during my study permit? Also, does co-op work experience in general counts towards valid Canadian experience for PR?

Does co-op work experience during your study permit count toward Canadian Experience Class?
I know everyone here says no, I saw a random comment here yesterday from an immigration consultant.. not sure how accurate it is , but he said , Co-op experience does not count, however full time job that’s not coop “may” count if it meets certain “conditions”.
On study permit any work will be not count Canadian experience
