You can go on visit visa and go for flagpoling and get your Spousal Open Work Permit in 1 day at the border. And the existing application will then be withdrawn once you flag pole

Oh ok. And is there a wait time after you land on VV before you can get OWP? And should you be updating the PR application process with this change if the PA gets OWP?
