Hey all, quick and urgent question around claiming 2nd year of work experience under CEC after having travelled and worked remotely for a Canadian company for 9mos out of 2 years from different countries: I have worked at my Canadian employer for 2 years. I meet the 1 year "in canada" experience minimum requirement for CEC. However, I spent 9months travelling different countries and working remotely (1mo (2021), 7.5mo (2022), 2 weeks (2023)). I'd like to claim this 9mos work experience outside canada and 3mos of work experience in Canada, all for the same Canadian employer, to get points for 2nd year of work experience. All my paystubs, taxes and bank statements are in Canada. My IRCC profile thinks I have 2 years of Canadian experience. Is this fine? Should I provide extra documents to IRCC to explain this? Cibi Sounder Yeah, even I got to know the same thing. Only 2 weeks paid vacation will be counted in 52 weeks payroll for outside Canada. Appreciate your reply - tnx!
