I was outside Canada for 6 months 3 months on and off business trips and 3 months travel to India due to family support but i was working remotely. Will that 6 months counts under CEC or should I exclude. Since I am on full time payroll from Day1 paid taxes for these 6 months too. Please share your thoughts if anyone of you come across this situation, it would be greatly helpful. Kubeir Kamal appreciate ur guidence here. Thank you all in advance.

Does time spent working remotely outside Canada count toward Canadian Experience Class (CEC) work experience?

I think it should work. You are already work permit and left for abroad some reason, but still working for the company remotely and paying the tax. It should count .
The time you were not in Canada that will NOT be counted towards Canadian experience. You have to be physically in Canada for Canadian experience.
