Hello there, I just received this email from IRCC today but I have a few questions and concerns. If anyone knows the answer or might have an idea , I will really appreciate it. * Since my SIN expired together with my old work permit, will this email be enough proof to get the SIN updated? * My prospected employer still wont allow me to start working even though I have this authorization because they said the SIN is still expired anyway. * Are all employer be looking for a SIN that is not expired even though this literally says that I am allowed to keep working and might not be able to update my SIN until I get my new work permit ? Hopefully somebody can help

Expired SIN with a valid work permit extension letter: employers may still refuse to hire you
Ritu Sravya Reddyi I would find another employer if you can that will hire with expired SIN number, so far there is no news that we can renew these SIN numbers without an approved work permit but try calling them tomorrow.
Kavya Deshpande thank you , That’s what I thought too but the Employer is asking for a SIN that is not expired
