Hello, my husband got admitted to Conestoga Doon campus Jan 2023 intake for PG in Project Management. He applied for the Visa on Sep 7 and got a reject on Oct 31. The reason stated is ‘I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of the stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR…’ (SS attached). Now we are confused whether to apply for a GCMS note, the wait for which will be long and we may not get that in time; or to directly reapply using the help of a consultant. Some details- My husband has about 7 years of experience. Is career gap the issue.

Study visa refused under R216(1)(b) ('not satisfied you'll leave Canada'): GCMS notes first, or reapply immediately?

Education gap could not be the issue as I have same years of work experience and received student visa. Although please make sure your chosen course is connected to your previous study and you linked up the connection in your SOP.
