Hello I have applied for masters of education in Thompson rivers university, kamloops, British Columbia. They had a deadline of 15th of august for visa submission and had asked us to defer if till the said date we aren’t able to submit the visa. I got my visa letter on 17th of August and now the university is denying the request of letting me join this year, what shall be done? The course is only having one intake per year, which is the fall of every year, so if I defer I would have to wait for a year more to start my studies. If at all we defer, what happens to my visa then? The validity of my visa is 31st March 2024. Also my passport is expiring in October 2024, does this affect the possiblity of getting study permit once I get there? Kindly guide me as to what my next step should be.
