Hello, I got married in a small Traditional ceremony on July 2022 and just 5 days before it I received COPR confirmation that is valid till March 2023. As my spouse was living in a different city, I never updated IRCC. (I should have updated them). Now, We started staying together since December 2022. We are going for registering our marriage. Should we register for December 2022 or July 2022? should I update that I got married in July 2022 (or it will be a problem why I am updatupdating so late? or Or register for December 2022 and update IRCC? Thank you.

You can register for whenever you want. You will need to inform IRCC and a new COPR will have to be issued.
