Hello guys needing your advice. In my proof of relationship, I have declared my Aunt and Uncle as relatives to whom are permanent residents already. I got their birth certificates already but I noticed that my Aunt’s birth certificate has a wrong spelling on my Grandmother’s name. Its a minor mistake (Eugenia became Eugeina). However, my Uncle and Mother’s birth cert has the correct spelling (Eugenia). Will the incorrect spelling of my Grandmother’s name in my Aunts birth cert pose any problems in my application? Sudhansu Kumar Nayak Kubeir Kamal Thank you and more power to you.

Typo in a relative's birth certificate for proof-of-relationship: LOE or ignore?
Where exactly hv u claimed points for proof of relationship? Is it 5 points for MEC to reach 67 plus points? Anyway, its seems a clear case of a typo error, so either u can ignore it or write a letter of explanation. Dont think IRCC would expect a affidavit of same name same person. Plus from what i understand same name same person affidavit should come from the person whose name is spelt incorrectly. So IRCC wont expect a non applicant to go thr
Vincent - as u r aware u dont get any points for relatives towards ur CRS. The only 5 points u get for relatives is towards ur MEC to ensure its atleast 67. If u hvnt claimed points for relatives and already hv over 67 anyway for ur MEC, i wont even loose sleep over it. Just relax, its not important as it doesnt matter.
Rob Carter i did not claim additional pts for CRS for declaring my aunt / uncle. Its for additional MEC i believe. Its just that there is a question about declaring relatives in the PR application so I would need to show proof about my aunt/uncle
Nitin Singh i’m not in post AOR stage yet. Still completing docs for PR application. Can LOE ba a good option?
Rob Carter yes correct. Im just too anxious to make my application as error free as possible. Haha.
The best thing you can do it to raise the web form and inform IRCC about this issue.
Vincent John Manlapaz yes. LOE is good. Go ahead.
