CanadaSpousal Sponsorship1Hello everyone. Please I need your suggestions on what to do next. I am a PR living in Canada since 2022. My wife came to see me on visitors visa 3 months ago, while our spousal sponsorship application was in progress. She has just received PPR while still in Canada visiting me. We sent her passport for stamping and expect it back soon. Is there any chance she could active her COPR without leaving Canada and travelling back to her home country?

Ujoatuonu Chima u shouldn't have done that... If she is here then u were supposed to send ircc a webform informing them that she is in Canada and get virtual landing. now ur options are limited either she has to make a return trip or u can still send a webform and inform that she is here (this would cause delay now to get virtual landing email as ircc will have to figure out if the visa copr is issued already or not). Ujoatuonu Chima You won't enter the united states since you don't have a visa. However when you get to the US border, you will tell them that you want to flagpole. They'll give you a document and send you back to Canada. The CBSA agents will then do the required processing.
You should have updated ircc that she is in Canada and got a virtual landing option ... And how come u sent her passport for stamping without leaving Canada ? And where did u send it ?
