I am in a similar situation. My PGWP expires on Feb 2024. I was supposed to get more than 1 yr validity but they gave only 1 year for me. After consulting with IRCC, I applied for extension back in March. So I m waiting for their response

As per my knowledge there is public policy announced for next year, wait till Jan may be they announce something
