I read somewhere that there are high chances of study permit being rejected if a person have visitor visa because officer thinks that individual might not return to home country if he have visitor visa. Look at it the other way, u have a visitor visa & u didn’t misuse it. Chances are for it to work in ur favour
Actually it increases your chances, as you've already been processed once by IRCC.
